Suus Sand came to us to learn about the techniques of a bag she had had in her head for years. She wanted to design a small bag that you can easily take with you to the beach and on your bike. She lives in Scheveningen, so she can frequently be found at the beach and in the sea! Amidst a surfer community and beach lovers. At first glance it is a simple bag she designed but characterized by small details that are complicated. In a series of private lessons, she mastered the craft and developed her own handwriting, which led to her label Sand Leatherbags. With success, as she now sells her trendy bags via Instragram worldwide. She inherited her love for the craft of leather working from her grandfather, who was already active in it. If you want to know exactly how that works, look on this website under video. Suus teaches with great passion the Start Course Basic Techniques with us.
